Ensuring Excellence: JPK Compliance Briefing for Your Beauty Academy

As a SRIC Beauty International College committed to quality and professionalism, we constantly strive to ensure every aspect of our operations aligns with the highest standards. In our continuous pursuit of excellence, we wish to outline the importance of adhering to the guidelines and regulations set by the Department of Skills Development (JPK), specifically through their Inspectorate unit.
Internal Discussions: The Core of Continuous Quality
SRIC understands that the strength of an organization lies in internal communication and preparation. Therefore, we will be holding comprehensive internal discussion sessions to review all our standard operating procedures (SOPs). This includes, but is not limited to:
- Quality of Training Delivery: Ensuring each training module is delivered effectively and meets the prescribed learning objectives.
- Scheduling and Training Modules: Ensuring perfect scheduling and completeness of training modules for an optimal learning experience.
- Governance Policy: Clarifying and strengthening our internal governance policy for transparent and responsible operations.
- Attendance Records and Training Evidence (Portfolio): Emphasizing the importance of accurate and complete attendance records and training evidence (portfolio) as proof of student achievement.
- Completion of Final Verification Sessions: Ensuring mandatory final verification sessions are completed within the stipulated training period for each student batch.
These discussion sessions aim not only to review existing practices but also to identify any areas for improvement to ensure we remain at the forefront of delivering quality beauty education.
Under JPK Inspectorate Unit Surveillance: Constant Readiness
We wish to remind all parties that our academy is under continuous surveillance by the JPK Inspectorate unit. This means that surprise inspections can be conducted at any time without prior notice. Hence, readiness is key.
JPK inspections aim to ensure that Skills Training Providers (PLK) like us comply with the National Skills Development Act 2006 (Act 652). Among the areas frequently focused on during inspections are:
- Sufficiency and Validity of Documents: Ensure all related documents such as student registration, progress records, and facility management are up-to-date and valid.
- Compliance with Training Standards: Ensuring training delivery is in line with the curriculum and standards set by JPK.
- Facility and Equipment Condition: Ensuring the learning environment is conducive, safe, and equipped with sufficient and functional equipment.
- Integrity of Program Management: JPK is very serious about combating any elements of fraud, such as misuse of accreditation, impersonation of verification sessions, fraudulent student offers, or the use of fake documents. There will be no leniency for fraud and scamming activities.
We urge all team members to always be vigilant and ensure all practices are in line with JPK regulations. Any suspicions or doubtful information should be immediately referred to management or directly to the Department of Skills Development.
Our Commitment to Excellence and Integrity
At SRIC Beauty International College, integrity and quality are the main pillars supporting our mission to produce highly skilled beauty professionals. With thorough internal preparation and continuous readiness for JPK inspections, we not only meet compliance requirements but also strengthen our reputation as a leader in beauty education.
We are confident that with the cooperation and commitment of all parties, we will continue to achieve higher levels of excellence and produce graduates who are not only skilled but also ethical and professional.
